SAP.iO Foundry Singapore Kicks Off Intelligent Sustainable Enterprise Program

23 May, 2023SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) and Singapore’s Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) have launched the Intelligent Sustainable Enterprise program, a 6-month program focused on supporting tech startups to build innovative solutions for businesses in the following areas: 5G, internet of things (IoT), robotics, data analytics and augmented, virtual, or mixed reality (AR/VR/MR).

As we continue to navigate the challenges of a highly disruptive and rapidly evolving world, it is becoming increasingly important for businesses to not only be profitable, but also sustainable and intelligent. By using innovative technology, enterprises can make informed decisions and respond to market changes quickly. Companies that are more agile and intelligent in their decision-making processes are best positioned for long-term success in today’s competitive business landscape.

Highlighting the importance of sustainability of tech solutions within the business and to the environment, 9 startups have been selected by a jury of experts from SAP and IMDA, as well as selected SAP customers to join the program. The selected startups will gain opportunities to work with leading corporates and end users to demonstrate real-world applications of innovative technology to address challenges across various industries.

Through the Intelligent Sustainable Enterprise Program, the selected startups will be given resources and support to commercialise their innovative tech solutions with access to:

  • Dedicated mentorship by the teams at SAP and IMDA;
  • SAP’s enterprise customers and IMDA’s network of corporates, startups and industry partners;
  • SAP’s technology and application programming interfaces (APIs);
  • Resources in 5G, AR, VR and a panel of consultants on subjects such as design thinking, digital storytelling and UI/UX at IMDA’s innovation hub – PIXEL*

Where relevant, selected startups may enrich their own catalogue of services and offerings by participating in IMDA’s programmes – ranging from 5G, artificial intelligence (AI), trust tech to open innovation platform challenges.

*PIXEL supports corporates and startups in digital innovation through customised consultation to identify opportunities and develop tech products based on their unique business needs. Powered by the Open Innovation Platform (OIP), corporates can crowdsource for innovative solutions from IMDA’s global network of over 12,000 solution providers. One of the top launchpads in South East Asia, PIXEL also houses specialised labs including AR/VR, 5G, usability testing, as well as co-working spaces. 

The following startups are participating in the program:

  1. Ackcio builds wireless monitoring systems to make industrial operations smarter and faster.
  2. Delta Capture effortlessly manages the sustainability of agriculture supply chain
  3. Intangles transforms fleet monitoring standards by leveraging on their proprietary digital twin technology.
  4. QZense helps companies optimize food supply chain operations with their IoT-based automation and analytics solutions.
  5. Scoutbee provides actionable supplier insights for better business outcomes powered by the Scoutbee Intelligence Platform.
  6. SkyMap provides location-based data analytics to deliver sustainability related geospatial AI applications at scale.
  7. Unbox Robotics elevates fulfillment for digital commerce with intelligent vertical robotic sortation.
  8. UNL Global enables businesses to build highly scalable, hyperlocal services and applications with their mapping, location, and data tools.
  9. xSquare leverages intelligent warehouse automation technology to optimize warehouse operations without changing existing configurations.

SAP.iO Foundry Singapore Launches Sustainability Startup Program in Asia-Pacific and Japan

November 25, 2021 SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) today launched a sustainability-focused virtual startup program at SAP.iO Foundry Singapore. Six international startups have been selected by a jury of SAP experts and partners to join the program.

New ideas and innovative solutions are essential to uncover the impact of emissions and waste across every facet of a business. The selected startups use next generation technologies to drive sustainability outcomes for companies across Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ), in areas such as climate action, circular economy, and socially responsible supply chains.

Over the next 13 weeks, the startups will have access to curated mentorship from SAP executives, exposure to SAP® technology and application programming interfaces (APIs), and opportunities to collaborate with SAP customers around the world.

The following startups are participating in the sustainability in APJ program:

  • Ambee helps people to breathe clean air using artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to analyze air quality, soil, micro weather, pollen, and more.
  • CarbonClick is a carbon credits marketplace that allows customers to purchase audited carbon offsets, as well as measure and reduce their carbon footprint.
  • givvable helps businesses to discover and track sustainability credentials, attributes and initiatives of suppliers.
  • Resync is a cloud energy management company which manages renewable assets, building energy and industrial energy.
  • Unabiz drives data-driven business efficiency through sensors, manufacturing and cloud platform services for smart metering, smart facilities management, smart logistics and supply chain.
  • WePower connects corporate energy buyers and retailers with green energy generators so all businesses, regardless of size, can purchase locally produced green energy at competitive rates with full transparency.

SAP.iO Foundry Singapore Kicks-Off “Future of Work” Startup Program

September 14, 2021 SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) launched a virtual startup program focusing on human resources (HR) technology and the future of work solutions at SAP.iO Foundry Singapore in collaboration with SAP SuccessFactors. The six international startups have been selected by a jury of SAP experts and partners to join the program.

Over the next 13 weeks, SAP will accelerate these early-stage startups that are focused on recruiting, talent and team management, and wellbeing solutions. The startups will have access to curated mentorship from SAP executives, exposure to SAP® technology and application programming interfaces (APIs), and opportunities to collaborate with SAP customers around the world. The program will conclude with the SAP.iO Cohort Demo Day in December 2021.

  • Boldly’s platform enables both coaching and mentoring in one place. With the largest global database of professional coaches, Boldly ensures both coaching and mentoring culture can scale with exceptional operations, coaching and mentoring resources.
  • Tagvance’s personnel and asset tracking solution provides real time and high precision location tracking of people and assets in industrial spaces for improved safety and productivity.
  • Talent Games helps companies find and assess top millennial talent using recruitment games. Talent Games’ gamified candidate assessments are scientifically proven to accurately evaluate each candidate’s personality, cognitive ability, aptitude and behavior, all while they play the game.
  • Wagely empowers companies to provide employees with affordable and sustainable financial services, including access to earned wage access (EWA). This allows employees to access already earned but unpaid wages to reduce financial stress and boost their productivity, motivation and retention.
  • Springday is a B2B software-as-a-service platform with wellness programs, assessment tools and content to enable employees to be happier and healthier.

SAP Launches SAP.iO Foundry its Acceleration Program in Singapore

SAP SE recently announced SAP.iO Foundry Singapore, its first acceleration program in Singapore.

SAP.iO Foundry Singapore program acceleration program aims to help the Southeast Asian startups for their growth, giving them the exposure to programmable application interfaces (APIs), SAP technology and curated mentorship along with the chances to team up with SAP customers.

SAP gets into accelerator space in SG with 7 B2B startups

Global software company SAP has launched SAP.iO Foundry Singapore, its first acceleration programme in Singapore. The accelerator’s first cohort will consist of seven early-stage startups focused on business-to-business technologies, including several that help improve customer experience.

SAP.iO Foundry aims to accelerate Southeast Asian startups, providing them access to curated mentorship, exposure to SAP technology and application programmable interfaces, as well as opportunities to collaborate with SAP customers.

Companies currently include TADA, which offers a data-driven customer advocacy and engagement platform that helps brands attract, engage and retain customers; and Size n Fit, which provides an eCommerce add-on to help online shoppers find apparel that fits and reduce returns. Meanwhile, Flowcast uses patented machine-learning algorithms to harness untapped, complex data to automate credit decision-making and LuxTag provides anti-counterfeiting and anti-theft solutions through blockchain.

SAP SE today kicked off SAP.iO Foundry Singapore, its first acceleration program in Singapore. The program aims to accelerate Southeast Asian startups, providing them access to curated mentorship, exposure to SAP technology and application programmable interfaces (APIs), and opportunities to collaborate with SAP customers. The first cohort will consist of seven early-stage Intelligent Enterprise startups focused on business-to-business (B2B) technology.

The first SAP.iO Foundry Singapore cohort includes the following startups:

  • Flowcast Inc.: Uses patented machine-learning algorithms to harness untapped, complex data to automate credit decision-making. This provides greater visibility to customers to address underserved markets.
  • Pulsifi: Predicts workplace outcomes to identify, retain and develop great people. By using artificial intelligence to incorporate multiple data sources across hard skills and soft traits, this HR analytics platform derives employee success profiles to improve HR decisions across the employee lifecycle, from hiring to development.
  • Notarum: Provides a modern workflow tool designed to reduce busywork by automating corporate due diligence. Notarum makes performing due diligence analysis and sharing work with teammates easier than ever.
  • Adaface: Enables and automates first-round tech interviews to identify the best engineering talent faster.
  • TADA: Offers a data-driven customer advocacy and engagement platform that helps brands moving from transactions to relationships and customers to advocates. This enables businesses to attract, engage and retain customers.
  • Size n Fit: Helps online shoppers find apparel that fits. This e-commerce add-on aims to increase sales and reduce returns.
  • LuxTag: Provides an anticounterfeiting and antitheft solution that uses blockchain-enabled traceability to deter product counterfeiting and fraud.
